Finding the right setup for 12th scale you don't need many tools but sometimes there are certain tools that just make life easy. Now Unity Tool Inc. has a tweak board that really can make life easy. You can do tweak settings but it has camber, caster, and toe in  blocks. These can be placed on the tweak board to set camber, caster and toe in/out on the car.

This the only tweak board that has these options for 12th scale. This tweak board can also be used in other cars like TC 10th scale.

This teak board can be ordered directly from Unity Tool Inc and instruction page .

Servos are always a big question when starting with scale. The servos used in 12th scale are normally mini servos with a high speed motor and torque is not a problem for 12th scale. Below you will find a list of the most used servos in 12th scale.

I have updated the servo from KO-PROPO

BMI RACING has created a new 12th scale car using a different method. The car does not use the standard t-bar to connect the motor pod to the chassis but uses two l-bar that looks a lot like a link based car. The l-bar are placed where you normally would see in a link car the links.

Using this method the batteries are now placed as a pack and not in saddle pack as the T-bar is not present any more. The car has had good results at the recent Snowbirds 2007. The car will released as a kit.

More Information can be found on rctech forum or visiting BMI Racing web site.

Here is picture of the production release of the car.
